2025 Breast Cancer Awareness Events and Initiatives

As we approach another pivotal season for breast cancer awareness, the 2025 calendar is filled with opportunities to educate, engage and empower our South Florida communities.
Breast cancer is the most prevalent cancer globally, and early detection significantly enhances patient outcomes. Raising awareness is essential for promoting screening initiatives. Over the next two months, faculty and staff from Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of UHealth—the University of Miami Health System and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, will take part in various events to raise awareness about breast cancer.
From high-profile galas and awareness luncheons to community walks and spirited sporting events, each gathering serves as a vital touchpoint in our collective mission to raise awareness, support survivors and advance research.
