2026 Breast Cancer Awareness Events in South Florida

Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center will join community partners across South Florida for educational programs, luncheons, walks and sporting events supporting breast cancer awareness.

At center, a semi-transparent human outline is overlaid with a glowing tumor-like focal point in the chest, connected to a DNA strand. Surrounding elements include a stylized brain-shaped circuit diagram, cellular tumor structures, and simplified data charts, all set against a soft grid of binary code and blurred data points, conveying big data analysis and biomedical research in a clean, subdued composition.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month brings communities together to share trusted information, encourage early detection and support people affected by breast cancer.

Throughout September and October, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of UHealth—University of Miami Health System and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, will join community organizations across South Florida for educational programs, awareness luncheons, walks and sporting events. The schedule includes activities in Miami-Dade and Broward counties, reflecting Sylvester’s commitment to community partnership, education and engagement.

These events offer opportunities to learn from breast cancer experts, connect with local organizations and show support for patients, survivors, families and others whose lives have been affected by breast cancer.

Participants wearing pink breast cancer awareness apparel gather outdoors during a community event, with three people posing for a selfie in the foreground. Palm trees, event tents, and additional attendees dressed in pink are visible in the background.
