Dr. Silvia Gra Menendez Joins UHealth

The University of Miami Health System welcomes new provider Silvia Gra Menendez, M.D., assistant professor of clinical medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Clinical specialties: Endocrine disorders, particularly diseases of the thyroid

Research interests: Thyroid neoplasm, particularly the management of advanced thyroid cancer. Thyroid nodules, hyperthyroidism, Graves’ orbitopathy and hypothyroidism.

During her residency and fellowship Dr. Gra Menendez performed basic science and clinical research in the fields of molecular diagnosis of Hereditary Nonpolyposis Colorectal Cancer, hypoglycemia in hospitalized patients at CCF and an ongoing project on the effects of Dapagliflozin on epicardial fat in subjects with T2D.
