Miami Neonatology Hosts Its First Hybrid Conference
For the first time in more than 45 years, Miami Neonatology, sponsored by the Miller School of Medicine and organized by the Division of Neonatology in the Department of Pediatrics, presented its annual conference in a hybrid format.

The event was held November 15-17 at the Loews Hotel in Miami Beach. Approximately 1,700 neonatologists and other health professionals — 600 in person and 1,100 connected to the livestream — from 55 countries participated in the conference.
Fifteen national and international leading experts in neonatal medicine presented the latest research and clinical practices in caring for newborns in a series of presentations and panel discussions.

In keeping with University of Miami’s global mission, this educational program is reaching a worldwide audience and has become one of the longest running and most recognized newborn medical conferences in the world.
