Three Walgreens On-Campus Pharmacies Are Open

The University of Miami and Walgreens are pleased to announce the opening of three on-campus Walgreens pharmacy locations. These pharmacies offer convenient access to Walgreens’ expert service for faculty, staff, students and the community.

Here are the pharmacy locations and opening hours:

• The Lennar Foundation Medical Center on the Coral Gables campus, main lobby: Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• University of Miami Hospital, main lobby: Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• University of Miami Hospital and Clinics, second floor: Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The pharmacies offer a variety of services, including:

• 30- and 90-day supplies of medications for faculty and staff enrolled in the UM Aetna/OptumRx health plan, and other plans
• Access to customized drugs
• Copay and patient assistance when available through drug manufacturers for various medications
• Convenient medication delivery service
• Immunizations for adults 18 and older
• Special ordering of over-the-counter medications, specialty items and select durable medical equipment upon request

To transfer a prescription to one of the Walgreens on-campus pharmacies, simply bring your prescription bottle with you and the pharmacist will coordinate the transfer for you.
