Registration Now Open for Dolphins Cancer Challenge XVI
Join the winning team and support innovative cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The Miami Dolphins have opened registration for Dolphins Cancer Challenge (DCC) XVI , set to take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Hard Rock Stadium’s Miami International Autodrome.
As the signature fundraising event of the Miami Dolphins, DCC XVI supports innovative cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of UHealth—University of Miami Health System and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Sylvester is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in South Florida and one of the top 50 cancer centers nationwide as ranked by U.S. News and World Report.
One Team. One Fight.
Since its inception in 2010, the DCC has united cancer survivors, families and supporters under a shared mission: to fight cancer together. Every dollar raised by participants goes directly to Sylvester’s physician-scientists, fueling breakthroughs in cancer care, cutting-edge technology and personalized treatment.
Now in its 16th year, event leaders are chasing something extraordinary: the opportunity to surpass $100 million raised for cancer research.

“As the DCC approaches the incredible milestone of raising $100 million for cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, we’re reminded that this achievement is about so much more than a dollar amount,” said Javier Sanchez, executive director of the Dolphins Cancer Challenge. “It’s a powerful reflection of the unwavering commitment of our community teams, corporate partners and every individual who has ridden, walked, donated or volunteered, all united by the shared goal of fueling life-saving treatment and groundbreaking research at Sylvester. Together, we are proving that when a community comes together, we can help the future of cancer care.”
Milestones That Matter
Last year’s DCC XV saw record-breaking participation, with more than 7,300 riders, runners and walkers, who helped raise more than $15 million, bringing the total to almost $100 million in support of Sylvester’s cancer research mission.

“The partnership between Sylvester and the Miami Dolphins is truly transformative,” said Stephen D. Nimer, M.D., director of Sylvester and professor of medicine, biochemistry and molecular biology and executive dean for research at the Miller School. “These funds have accelerated our ability to deliver life-saving treatments and conduct groundbreaking research that benefits our entire community.”
