Dr. Seemant Chaturvedi Named President of Association of Indian Neurologists in America

Seemant Chaturvedi, M.D., professor of clinical neurology and vice chair for VA Programs in the Department of Neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, has been elected President of the Association of Indian Neurologists in America (AINA).

“I look forward to continuing the work of the AINA and identifying new initiatives, so that we may advance our mission of improved neurologic care and education,” said Chaturvedi.

AINA represents more than 500 neurologists and has multiple missions, including promotion of improved treatment of neurologic disorders in the US and India. In addition, AINA conducts educational programs for neurologists. In conjunction with the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), AINA presents an annual Lifetime Achievement award and provides awards for residents/fellows of Indian origin who present original research at the AAN annual meeting.
