The Lennar Foundation Medical Center Receives Two Prestigious Press Ganey Awards
Once again, the Lennar Foundation Medical Center at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine has received national recognition for achieving and maintaining consistently high levels of excellence in patient experience.
Press Ganey, a national leader in health care performance improvement, honored UHealth’s ambulatory care center in Coral Gables with a Pinnacle of Excellence award for patient experience, and a Guardian of Excellence award for achieving the 95th percentile for each reporting period over a three-year period. It is the third year in a row that the Lennar Foundation Medical Center has been recognized by Press Ganey with the Guardian of Excellence Award and the first year being recognized with the Pinnacle of Excellence.
Commitment to Patient Experience
“These awards serve to illustrate our team’s commitment to providing a utopian patient experience,” said Rafic Warwar, chief administrative officer for UHealth – the University of Miami Health System. “We are proud to be continuously ranked in the top 5% in the nation and for the first time being awarded Press Ganey’s most elite recognition, the Guardian of Excellence Award. We remain steadfast in our focus to provide an exceptional experience for our patients, clinicians, and staff.”
Winners were identified based on performance over three full years, from May 2017 to April 2020. The awards are earned by maintaining a quarterly ranking above the 95th percentile in patient experience as measured by scores for specific criteria such as “likelihood to recommend the provider’s office,” “teamwork,” and “rate your provider on a scale of 1 to 10.”
