UHealth Welcomes Dr. Jason E. Levine
Jason E. Levine, D.P.M., has joined the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine as assistant professor of clinical medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes.
Clinical specialties: Extensive training in limb salvage and the diabetic foot. This includes education and the preventative care of the at-risk foot to advanced wound care techniques, and surgical treatment of pathology related to the neuropathic foot and ankle. Dr. Levine also specializes in treatment of foot and ankle fractures, correction of simple and complicated foot deformities, and other lower extremity pathology.
Research interests: Dr. Levine has been actively engaged in research studies and authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals. He has been co-investigator in these research studies:
